Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Overview SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (AT):
Bowhead seeks a Senior Systems Engineer who will work as part of a multi-disciplined team generating solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) and other government customersThe team's focus is on designing, analyzing, producing, testing, and delivering innovative prototypesResponsibilities Responsible for planning, executing, and tracking the engineering development and qualification efforts of weapons systemsMust maintain awareness of program status against system requirementsMust communicate with stakeholders, senior executives, and the technical execution teamJob duties include but are not limited to:
o System qualification test planning and coordinationo Briefings to safety and engineering oversight boardso Providing written and oral program status reportso Risk managemento Technology readiness assessmentso Milestone and Engineering review meeting coordination Qualificationso Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college.
o 5
years of experience with DoD weapon system acquisition in a systems engineering-focused environment.
o Knowledge of energetic system test and evaluation Understanding of explosive train technology and functionality Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of program personnel and outside contactso Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamo Awareness of national energetic T&E range capabilities Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
